Alice Cooper and Kip Winger to be guest performers on Kane Roberts’ upcoming solo album

Fans of Alice Cooper‘s Constrictor (1986) and Raise Your Fist And Yell (1987) will likely rejoice with the news that both Alice Cooper and former Alice Cooper bassist Kip Winger will be making guest appearances on former Alice Cooper guitarist Kane Roberts‘ upcoming solo album. Cooper, Roberts and Winger all played together on the two aforementioned Alice Cooper albums.

Back in September 2016, Sleaze Roxx had announced that Roberts would be releasing a new solo album via Frontiers Music Srl in 2017.

The following message was posted in part on Roberts‘ Facebook page on May 25, 2017:

“OK the rumors are TRUE. My ex-boss and eternal friend (to name just a few things) ALICE COOPER came to the studio one night and recorded an insane DUET with me!

Heavy duty song and we blaze through it (Alice‘s voice, in a word, awesome!). Color me honored and it brought back memories but you guessed that right?”

“A more recent message regarding Alice Cooper was posted on Roberts‘ Facebook page on May 27, 2017:

“i called alice and he said i’m in town, ill be right over! we hooked up, recorded and it was still loud, still heavy, still wicked, still fucking funny…add to that sheryl cooper making things twice as intense (her brain, along with all her other attributes, is in razor sharp demented mode 24/7) and you get the full picture!”

With respect to Kip Winger‘s participation on Roberts‘ upcoming solo album, the following message was posted in part on Roberts‘ Facebook page on April 15, 2017:

“Another kickass musician contributing to my upcoming Frontiers CD. Inner circle friend (and Grammy Nominee) Kip Winger punched out some serious (and I mean hardcore) bass parts on a number of the brand new songs I’m carving out. The BEFORE and AFTER was a wake up call to say the least. Thanks Kip! RTFO for reals!”

Roberts has commenced a Go Fund Me funding campaign in order to raise funds for the release of a video to accompany his upcoming solo album.
