In related Alice Cooper news, Desmond Child revealed in a Twitter post that he is “writing with Alice Cooper and Bob Ezrin tomorrow for WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE 2”. Alice Cooper has begun working on a new album to be produced by Bob Ezrin for a new joint venture with Bigger Picture Group. The pair have already collaborated on successful albums including 1973’s Billion Dollar Babies, 1975’s Welcome To My Nightmare, 1972 School’s Out and 1971’s Love It To Death. This will mark Cooper’s 26th studio album.

American Idol fans were surprised during the finale when THE MASTER appeared to help this season’s finalists open the show! The 12 season finalists had just begun singing, when a mob of children with Alice’s signature eye makeup appeared. It was then that Casey James introduced “The LEGENDARY Alice Cooper,” and out he came to join in singing a rendition of his classic “School’s Out”. Check out the performance below.
