Bangalore Choir Offer New 'Cadence' Samples, Now Taking Pre-OrdersBangalore Choir are now taking pre-orders for their upcoming CD ‘Cadence”, the band’s first studio album since 1992’s ‘On Target’. The new album can be purchased at and will be shipped on September 24th. The band have also posted samples of five ‘Cadence’ songs on their website — “Power Trippin'”, “Martyr”, “Living Your Dreams (Everyday)”, “Still Have A Song To Sing” and “Sweet Temptation”.

Los Angeles 1990, David Reece and drummer Rusty Miller were ready to form a heavy but melodic Rock n Roll band named ‘BANGALORE CHOIR’ A place to look for great guitar players was the GIT in Hollywood so John Kirk and Danny Greenberg were found. Sharing the same musical vision the writing began. First songs were ‘All or Nothin’ and ‘Slippin Away’, both on the ‘On Target’ release. While rehearsing, John mentioned the guitarist Curt Mitchell who had worked with a previous group out of Reno, NV called ‘Razormaid’ so another great guitarist was found! Rusty Miller and the group parted ways, new drummer Darek Thomas Cava (ex Brunette) replaced him. After a couple shows they had offers from almost every label in town and settled with Giant Records and recorded ‘On Target’ released 1991/1992.

So now to the present, David Reece was asked to sing on swedish rockers Gypsy Rose new record “Another World” in 2007 and while there they performed at the “Sweden Rock Festival”. Before the show began the stage manager begged David Reece to speak with all of the people who had been hanging around all day, waiting for him. When David walked around behind stage he was amazeed to find many people holding the Bangalore Choir record “On Target” requesting autographs and a photo with him. While speaking to his fans he was asked repeatedly about when there would be a new Bangalore Choir record?

So with the fantastic support from fans worldwide David reached out to guitarist Curt Mitchell and bassist Danny Greenberg asking if they would like to make a new record, both of them eagerly accepted the challenge. Also on this new record are guitarist Andy Susemihl of U.D.O. fame handeling songwriting and guitars as well as doing a masterful job on production and Hans in’t Zandt on drums. David says we knew if we were to make a new record that in order for it to be viable we had to keep some of the old formula that worked so well in the past which we have done! The new record by Bangalore Choir is called “Cadence”continuing with blistering guitars pounding rythms and big hooky Choruses. Bangalore Choir will go on tour in Europe in early October 2010 playing such shows as the H.E.A.T. Festival as well as the Firefest in England they also plan to tour the Asian market as well as some U.S. dates.

Get ready for Bangalore Choir!!!
