Dellacoma recruit Tyketto guitarist Chris Green and Mach22 bassist Jaron Gulino for US tour
Aussie rockers Dellacoma recently announced that it was parting ways with bassist and founding member Rick Reynolds. In addition, Dellacoma have recently parted ways with guitarist Art Struck and drummer Matt Cook leaving only singer Dellacoma Rio in the band. With three US tour dates already announced for July 3, 4 and 8, 2017, Dellacoma have elected to forge ahead with apparently some temporary but at this time noteworthy replacements.
Dellacoma’s announced US tour dates:
July 3, 2017 — Paulie’s Pub – West Allis, Wisconsin, USA
July 4, 2017 — Fire Over The Fox — Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
July 8, 2017 — Summerfest — Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
The following message was posted on Dellacoma‘s Facebook page back on May 22, 2017:
“By now I am sure many of you have seen the news that Art and Matt have chosen to step away from the band. Life on the road is tough and this is an unforgiving industry much of the time. I am very grateful for the 3 years I’ve had creating music with Art, Matt and Rick and for the sacrifices they have made to tour the world with me.
I will be playing shows 3-8 July, including our maiden performance at Summerfest, with a new lineup of special guests which will include Jaron Gulino from MACH22 and On Top on bass. I will be announcing the remainder of the lineup in the coming week as well as several more shows.
Stay tuned for more details including the 2nd Dellacoma album which is still on track for release this year and more tour plans. I am beyond grateful for your support and belief. It means more to me than you know~ Del”
Mach22 have released three albums to date with Gulino on bass: the full-length debut album Sweet Talk Intervention (2014), the EP Like My Chances (2015) and the EP Working Off The Clock (2017). The band’s EP Like My Chances finished at #1 on Sleaze Roxx’s Top Ten Albums of 2015.
