Dirty Passion To Release ‘In Wonderland’ This October
August 19, 2012
The hotly awaited second album by Sweden’s hardest working band Dirty Passion has been confirmed for an October 2012 release.
‘Dirty Passion – In Wonderland’ will be released worldwide by Smilodon Records, a subsidiary of Transubstans/Record Heaven. Bassist Nasty Laine tells SleazeRoxx.com, “We are finaly done with the recording, (we’re) just waiting for the mixing to be done.”
After 8 months of writing and playing the new material live, most notably on the Dirty Passion/L.A. Guns European tour, the recording finally took place in July of 2012 and saw the band utilize four different studios including a return for the final mixing at the world-renowned “Roasting House Studios”. After extensive radio play, the critically acclaimed radio pre-single “When Darkness Falls” will also be included on the album as a special bonus track.
This time around the band has decided to move in a more modern direction without losing sight of the fundamentals of the Dirty Passion sound that was found on their 2010 debut ‘Different Tomorrow’ — the melodiesand catchy choruses. With a heavier sound and better production, as well as a more diverse song writing approach, the final result is a modern mix of classicrock and youthfull playfulness that is sure to please both old and new fans alike.
The first single will be unveiled in September followed by the B-side in October. A video for the single is also being shot and will be out together with the album. Tours in Europe and the U.S are also currently being booked to coincide with the release. More details can be found at www.dirtypassion.com and www.facebook.com/pages/DIRTY-PASSION/119133864777030.
