Dokken line-up with Don Dokken and Jon Levin to start writing new album soon
Fresh off the seven date tour performed by Dokken‘s classic line-up of George Lynch (guitar), Jeff Pilson (bass), “Wild” Mick Brown (drums) and himself, Don Dokken was interviewed by Doug Podell for 94.7 WCSX Detroit’s Classic Rock station.
Don Dokken was asked whether there would be any new material from his usual Dokken line-up consisting of himself, Brown, Jon Levin (guitar) and Chris McCarvill (bass) to which he replied:
“Yeah, soon as I am done, I’m taking a break in December. We’re going to start writing a new record and hopefully… I’ve got so much stuff in the can you know in two years. I’ve got between everything I’ve sang on my cell phone, just playing at home you know with my little recorder, I’ve got a lot of stuff.”

Dokken‘s last studio album dates back to 2012 when they released Broken Bones with Sean McNabb handling the bass rather than McCarvill.
