Farcry Releasing ‘Optimism’ On May 21st

April 11, 2011

Farcry Releasing 'Optimism' On May 21stFarcry has been working hard in the studio the last past year with label Kivel Records and producer Ty Sims on their sophomore effort, Optimism. The band’s debut, High Gear was going to be a hard act to follow, but the band felt that they were up to the challenge with the aptly titled second release. This album was a team effort of all involved and a labor of love. All good things come to those who wait, and the waiting is over! Ty Sims: We made a really good Melodic rock Record here. I think the fans are going to like it.

Adding to the mix is world renowned illustrator, Mike Mayhew. Who created the bands album cover painting. Mike has created some of the most exciting images in comics today, and has an impressive resume, With his work with Marvel, DC, Vamperella, Wizard, Fox Films, and Warner Brother Films’ Superman Returns to name a few. Working with him was a pleasure and we couldn’t be happier with the end result of our concept of Optimism.
