Hellbros release video for “Father Time”
Canadian rockers Hellbros have released a video for the track “Father Time” from their new EP Hellbros.
Hellbros‘ Facebook bio states in part (with slight edits): “Ottawa rockers Hellbros have had one goal in mind; taking their music and their live show to the next level. With the release of their hard-hitting debut album, Goodtime Machine, the guys in Hellbros have managed to do just that, successfully capturing the raw energy and attitude of their live performances in ten badass, catchy tunes. “We’re bringing back good, old-fashioned, straight-up rock with a modern, heavy edge,” says front man Peter Jurt. “It’s music to drink and shake your ass to.”
In its review of Hellbros‘ Goodtime Machine released back in 2011, Sleaze Roxx stated: “Hellbros definitely get your attention right from the start when opening track “Street Party” quickly kicks into full-speed fury. Built on a nasty and infectious guitar riff and drummer Josh Roy‘s rapid paced drumming, the song rocks hard from start to finish and never lets up. Lead vocalist Peter Jurt‘s gruff but commanding screams seem perfect for the song and the gang vocals during the chorus are fitting for the street party. The song feels like it is jumping out of my speakers every time that I listen to it.” Sleaze Roxx concluded that: “If you like non-stop, loud, belligerent, uncomplicated rock ‘n’ roll with lots of attitude, Hellbros‘ Goodtime Machine will most likely fill that need.”
