Kickin Valentina release new single “Sweat” from upcoming EP ‘Chaos In Copenhagen’
Kickin Valentina consisting of bassist Chris Taylor, guitarist Heber Pampillon, drummer Jimmy Berdine and new lead vocalist D.K. Revelle (ex-Jetboy) have released their first single “Sweat” from their upcoming new EP Chaos In Copenhagen, which will be available via Mighty Music on December 6, 2019. The new EP can be pre-ordered via the Danish website Target Shop.
Mighty Music‘s press release indicates (with slight edits):
“First single from the “Chaos In Copenhagen” EP, recorded in a crazy, chaotic short period in Copenhagen (which included an almost cancelled show and a label meeting, after being drinking all day, which ended in last-minute proposal to enter the studio right away), “Chaos In Copenhagen” is the new EP from sleaze rock sensations Kickin Valentina.
“The whole message behind our first single “Sweat” is to stay hungry & passionate about your goals in life, whatever they may be. Go balls out, f*ck the haters and never let them see you sweat!” –DK Revelle (Kickin Valentina).
Three new songs and a live version of “Get Ready” (recorded at Bang Your Head Festival) are presented in the EP, which will be released in CD and vinyl.”
In a recent interview with Sleaze Roxx, Taylor spoke about what Revelle has brought to the band as he stated: “Man, he brings an enthusiasm to the band and that we love. It’s like me and Heber talked about it. He’s just like us. He kind of lives and breathes playing rock music. It’s who he is. It’s what he’s done his whole life. He brings a lot of ideas into the band. He’s the one that designed all the artwork for the album. He named the album. It’s been cool having somebody involved in other aspects of the band beside just writing lyrics. His enthusiasm has been awesome! We love him. We love having him.”
