The M3 Rock Festival returns with its 12th edition at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, USA from May 1 to 3, 2020.
The following was posted in part on M3 Rock Festival‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“COLUMBIA, Md. (Dec. 2, 2019) – M3 Rock Festival is celebrating a dirty dozen – the 12th edition of Merriweather Post Pavilion’s internationally-renowned ‘80s metal festival promises three days of excitement with festivities beginning Friday, May 1st with the annual Kix-off party, followed by a full weekend of performances Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd.
M3 Rock Festival’s Official M3 Kix-Off Party Friday, May 1st features hometown heroes KIX with special guests Heaven’s Edge and Slaughter. The full-blown 2020 M3 Rock Festival begins Saturday, May 2nd and includes multiplatinum-selling internationally known ‘80s artists: Tesla, Accept, Y&T, Doro, Faster Pussycat, LA Guns, Killer Dwarfs and more. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! Stick around for Sunday, May 3rd featuring RATT, Night Ranger, Stryper, Stephen Adler of Guns and Roses, Steelheart, Bang Tango (with the original lineup), Dangerous Toys, Tyketto and Little Ceasar. That’s still not all – stay tuned for even more artist announcements.
Take to the skies this year with Merriweather Post Pavilion’s new SkyLawn – keeping your feet on the grassy ground while soaring 43 feet above the pavilion. It’s like walking on air, with the views to match!
Over the past decade, M3 has become more than a festival – it’s an ‘80s arena rock experience. Drawing diehard fans from six continents, 20 countries, and every state, M3 has evolved into an annual pilgrimage for those who grew up with ‘80s rock (a genre of music now referred to as the “new classic rock”) as well as for younger fans who embrace the fun and excitement of the glam metal era.
