Philadelphia based Mach 22 just released their sophomore record Like My Chances on May 22nd.

Like My Chances has been receiving rave reviews including recently from Sleaze Roxx which stated: “The Philadelphia based band proves that playing uncomplicated classic rock and roll with a whole lot of soul is an art that many attempt but few are able to master. And master this art, Mach22 certainly accomplish on Like My Chances!… After hearing Like My Chances a couple of times, I was able to succinctly describe what I thought of it in three words: “I love it!”.”.

About a year ago, Mach22 released their debut album Sweet Talk Intervention to rave reviews including from Sleaze Roxx who declared: “What stands up on this record, and really sets it apart from the other great releases of 2014, are the vocals. As mentioned above, Caldwell has a very rich musical background. His voice is very soulful, and even though he doesn’t hesitate to scream when needed, his delivery is much smoother and funk influenced than that of your average hard rock vocalist. He even reminds me a bit of Living Colour‘s Corey Glover at times. His vocal performance makes this release really unique, and with a very solid hard rock background this album left a lasting impression. Mach22 is one of the bands that, if they manage to stay together and consequently move in this chosen direction, could make a mark.”
