The debut album from California’s Faithsedge is a melodic hard rock/AOR fan’s dream come true. From the opening bell “Another Chance” through the metallic scorcher “World Keeps Falling Down” to the final bell of “When It Rains”, this disc relentlessly pummels the listener into a state of pure melodic bliss.

Singer Giancarlo Floridia has a voice to be reckoned with — he has all the power and prowess to impress even the most cynical of fans of this genre. The rhythm section, consisting of bassist Fabrizio Grossi and drummer Tony Morra are spot on… so tight that you can’t even breath. Of course let’s not forget the signature licks and laser sharp stylings from former Dokken guitarist Alex De Rosso — who pushes this release to a place of honor amongst even the most relished of hair-metal staples from back in the day.

If bands like Nelson, Jake E.Lee era Ozzy Osbourne (musically), Night Ranger, Dokken, Harem Scarem, Winger and Damn Yankees make your pants a bit tighter, then listening to the debut from Faithsedge should have you popping a seam or two. Not only does this one pack the punches to keep the metal-heads and hard-rockers interested, it is very melodic — and with the tasty ballad “Hold On”, it will appeal to the the AOR fanatics and most importantly the ladies.

Faithsedege‘s debut is, for lack of a better word, good… damn good! Don’t hesitate to bring this little beauty home and take her for a spin, she certainly will satisfy.
