Salems Lott release video for “S.S. (Sonic Shock)”

standind-pressphoto22SoCal shock rock group Salems Lott have just released a video for their song “S.S. (Sonic Shock).” The band has been making a name for themselves on the Sunset Strip since their inception in 2013, having sold out venues such as House of Blues, The Whisky A Go Go, The Roxy and Viper Room countless times. Performing a heavy speed metal sound mixed with shocking theatrics and an even more surprising look, the band have amassed fans from the USA to Japan with their antics and sound.

“S.S. (Sonic Shock)” is the second single and video from Salems Lott’s self-titled debut EP following “No Choice To Love.” Sleaze Roxx stated the following about the shock rock group’s debut EP: “Many people will come up with early Motley Crue and W.A.S.P. comparisons when referencing Salems Lott‘s sound, but the obvious connection should involve another California group from the ’80s… Witch. Not exactly a household name, Witch‘s darker and heavier vibe, not to mention over-the-top stage antics, carved a niche while garnering a cult following. This is what I envision for Salems Lott — a polarizing group who will develop a rabid fan-base but will be perceived as too shocking to break into the mainstream.”

Salems Lott runs their own independent label Rēd Moon Rēcords, which released their self-titled debut EP with national and international physical/digital distribution. Upon its release, their debut EP received rave reviews and high demand in the US and internationally. Physical copies of the EP sold-out in Japan in just under two weeks.

Salems Lott is Monroe Black on lead vocals and lead guitar, Jett Black on lead guitar and vocals, Kay on lead bass and vocals, and Tony Corpse on drums.
