Shotgun Messiah Singer And Drummer Set To Return For 2013 Tour As Shotgun
November 17, 2012
They came from ‘Bop City’ and lived their lives out on ‘Decadencia Drive’. They were ‘born 2 rock’, ‘sworn 2 rock’, but they crashed and burned on ‘Heartbreak Boulevard’ after too much sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll.
Now, 25 years after their debut in Hollywood, two of the original Shotgun Messiah members are back to celebrate this anniversary. Vocalist Zinny J. Zan and drummer Stixx are teaming up with Chris Laney and former Danger Danger guitarist Rob Marcello as Shotgun — for a tour to begin in the spring of 2013.
Once named the ‘Gods of Glam’, Shotgun will be coming at you with a show covering all the songs from their killer 1989 self-titled debut album along with a few songs from the 1991 ‘Second Coming’ album.
Zinny J. Zan and Chris Laney previously worked together in Zan Clan, releasing the critically acclaimed ‘We Are Zan Clan… Who The F**k Are You??!!’ in 2005. Laney has also been working with Rob Marcello on his upcoming Laneys Legion project.
