Suicide Bombers doing crowd funding to release ‘The Sex Tapes’ on vinyl

Suicide Bombers CD coverNorway based Suicide Bombers have commenced a crowd funding campaign to get their critically acclaimed The Sex Tapes album out on vinyl via the New Jelly website.

The Suicide Bombers posted the following message (with slight edits) yesterday on their Facebook account about their quest to release The Sex Tapes on vinyl:

“Please help us make this happen! The Sex Tapes vinyl is to be financed by crowdfunding. We need the help of everyone who’s been mailing us asking for this and everyone else who loves vinyl.

All vinyls sold while this crowdfunding is up will be shipped free of charge, which means that people living outside of Europe will save $15,- on ordering now (this is also the reason for the high goal).

The vinyl will be audiophile remastered, printed on 180g heavy vinyl and include a brand new soundbite and several unreleased live tracks.

Head over to New Jelly and check out the rewards and share the hell out of this!

…over & motherfucking out!”

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of The Sex Tapes: “Ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls. I introduce to you the newest, greatest and the sleaziest hard rock band in the known free and not so free world: the Suicide Bombers. Hailing from Oslo, Norway and dripping with swagger, sex appeal and more talent than a body has a right to have, the sleaze merchants in the Suicide Bombers deliver and deliver in spades with The Sex Tapes. The Sex Tapes is as tight and as perfect an EP as any other I have heard. Not only do the six tracks drag you through the mire and leave you begging for more (so much more), but the mastermind behind the Bombers, Chris Damien Doll, ups the bloody ante and says “Fuck it! Let’s not only blow away the masses with a killer EP, but let’s toss in between each track poignant dialogue that makes this lil’ EP bloody epic!”. A be damned concept EP! I know — right freakin’ on!”
