AC/DC Releasing Wine Collection
AC/DC Releasing Wine Collection
August 16, 2011
AC/DC are releasing their own range of wines in Australia.
The rockers have teamed up with liquor firm Warburn Estate to lend their names – and the titles of some of their biggest hits – to a line of fine wines.
The collection will include varieties such as Back in Black Shiraz, Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon and You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato.
Steve Donohue, general manager of buying for the Woolworths Liquor Group, which will sell the drinks, says, “We wanted to make sure that AC/DC’s hometown fan base could have easy access to their rock icons’ wines. For us it was a no-brainer to make it available nationally, no one misses out.”
The wines will hit stores later this month.
