AC/DC Working On Live Release From ‘Black Ice’ Tour
February 18, 2011
OversteerTV recently interviewed AC/DC singer Brian Johnson at the Historic Sportscar Racing event at Palm Beach International Raceway to talk about vintage racing.
When asked what was coming up in the future for AC/DC, Johnson replied, “we’ve got a new live album which we shot in Argentina at the end of the last tour, which was about September. 300,000 people there and it was just wonderful. We had about 12 cameras there and a great sound crew and we just enjoyed the heck out of it. The live abum comes out, with a video of the concert, in about six weeks or something. I’m looking forward to that.
After that we haven’t made any plans, we just wanted to have a rest because we were on the road for two years. Playing in front of 5 million people and we deserve a rest I think — I’m pretty pooped. I know that sounds horrible for people who work hard, but believe you me it is hard work.”
