AC/DC’s Black Ice Rumored For Late August Release
AC/DC’S BLACK ICE RUMORED FOR LATE AUGUST RELEASE:
July 14, 2008
AC/DC Electric Shock reports that AC/DC’s new album, most probably entitled “Black Ice,” will be released by Columbia Records on October 28th in North America and 27th in the rest of the world.
The first single, “Runaway Train,” which was also a contender for the album’s title, will be released in late August. Details for a world tour starting in late 2008 should be announced sometime next week, as well as details of the band’s inclusion in the next version of the video game “Rock Band.”
The Wall Street Journals reports today that Black Ice will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores in the US. This follows recent exclusivity deals between Wal-Mart and major acts The Eagles, Journey and Garth Brooks.
