Aerosmith postpone shows due to Steven Tyler being under doctor’s orders not to sing for 30 days

Aerosmith consisting of frontman Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton and touring drummer John Douglas have hit a road block on their farewell Peace Out Tour given that Tyler is now under doctor’s orders not to sing for the next 30 days. Aerosmith‘s Peace Out Tour debuted earlier this month at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA (on September 2, 2023). The band was scheduled to play tomorrow (on September 12, 2023) at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The following message was posted on Aerosmith‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.” – Steven Tyler
