May 20, 2010

There’s No Way But The Hard Way for Australia’s own Airbourne with the announcement of the ‘No Guts. No Glory Tour’, their first Australian run of dates since 2007. The tour kicks off in Sydney on October 22 and will then head to Brisbane and Adelaide before winding up in their home state Victoria, playing Melbourne on November 1.

Their latest album ‘No Guts. No Glory’ follows the band’s 2008 debut ‘Runnin’ Wild’, which went on to sell upwards of 450,000 units worldwide and earned the band a stack of critical accolades. This included tours with Motorhead, Kid Rock, Motley Crue and multiple major festival appearances across Europe, UK and USA. Live shows also included Wacken Festival in Germany, UK’s Download Festival plus The Mayhem Tour in the USA to name a few.

Already a huge year so far with sell out UK & European dates months in advance, the boys are back with an electrifying Aussie tour, one that is guaranteed to blow the roof off!

Nominated for both best rock album and breakthrough album of the year at the 2007 ARIA Awards for ‘Runnin’ Wild’ the band went on to international success including the USA where their single ‘Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast’ peaked at number 16 on the Billboard charts in 2007.

Airbourne are now back to rock their fans (and charts) in their homeland and couldn’t be more pumped…”Australia! It’s been WAY too long between beers so we’re coming straight home for the ball tearing “Back On The Piss Tour”. The ticket you purchase is a physical document giving you the right to forget your troubles and get as drunk and outta control as you want, it’s gonna be LOUD and it’s gonna be WILD! We ain’t f*ckin around, this will be the only Airbourne Aussie tour of 2010 so get your tickets now for the Rock’n’Roll Beer-mageddon that is the “Back On The Piss Tour”! Cheers n Beers!” Airbourne.

In its short time since release (less than 3 months) ‘No Guts. No Glory’ has already reached number #1 on the ARIA Australian Artist chart, #4 in Germany, #3 in Canada, #9 in New Zealand, #19 in Australia (ARIA album chart) and #21 in The UK.
