Alice Cooper 10 Foot/150 Pound Guitar Being Auctioned Online
ALICE COOPER 10 FOOT/150 POUND GUITAR BEING AUCTIONED ONLINE
November 13, 2009
A 10 foot tall, 150 pound fiberglass Alice Cooper guitar is being auctioned online at this location. The guitar was originally auctioned off at GuitarMania 2005 in Phoenix, Arizona, with proceeds going to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Arizona.
This Alice Cooper Stratocaster guitar was one of more than 80 guitars designed and decorated by celebrities and local artists for the event.
Cooper, a longtime high-profile campaigner and fund-raiser for youth charities in the Valley, lent GuitarMania 2005 a first-person air of rock ‘n’ roll authenticity. “Any time you can marry art, charity and rock ‘n’ roll, I don’t think you can lose,” he told guests that Friday morning. On receiving his commemorative guitar, he remarked that, “Fender has always been great to our organization.”
