Alice Cooper expected to release new music for summer 2019 with lots of guest performers

Shock rocker Alice Cooper may be in his 70s but he is still releasing new music at a rate that likely makes many of his peers quite envious.

The following was posted in part on Rock Talk with Mitch Lafon‘s Facebook account earlier today:

“New music from Alice Cooper is expected in time for the Summer 2019 tour _ once again produced by Alice‘s longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin, who most recently produced 2017’s acclaimed Paranormal album, featuring friends like ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, U2‘s Larry Mullen Jr, and Deep Purple‘s Roger Glover, as well as original Alice Cooper band members Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway and Michael Bruce. Cooper‘s most recent release, the live album A Paranormal Evening At The Olympia Paris, was released by earMUSIC in 2018.”

Back on March 8, 2019, Lafon announced via Facebook that he had a number of interviews completed and ready to go including one with Alice Cooper.

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review about Alice Cooper‘s last studio album Paranormal, which finished at #14 on the Sleaze Roxx Readers’ Top 20 Albums of 2017: “Overall Paranormal is a fusion of the styles Alice Cooper has experimented with over the decades; however, it is far from being classified as a career retrospective. Whether you are a fan of the ’70s or ’80s Alice Cooper, Paranormal will definitely have something that will appeal to you. Vocally, the Alice Cooper of today still sounds just like he did back in the ’70s, which is miraculous considering he is almost 70. And to still be performing like he does, when many of his peers have fallen by the wayside, is a real testament to his hard work and perseverance.”
