Alley Cats LV taking sudden hiatus after guitarist Brent Muscat declines to do Japan tour
Is this the end for Alley Cats LV? The group has just advised that it is going on hiatus after band member and former Faster Pussycat guitarist Brent Muscat advised that he would not be taking part in the band’s upcoming tour of Japan in January. Back in October 2017, Alley Cats LV had released the single “Speed Racing Superstar” and announced that their debut full-length album was going to be released in 2018.
The following message was posted on Alley Cats LV‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“Dear Alley Cats LV fans,
We’d like to first thank you very much for always genuinely supporting this band.
We’re sorry for this sudden announcement, but ALLEY CATS LV has decided to take a hiatus at this time.
Per a previous announcement by ALLEY CATS LV member, Brent Muscat, we understand it is difficult for him to come back in January due to his physical condition. For that reason, it is difficult for us to do the ALLEY CATS LV “Wha Cha Say! Japan Tour 2018” in our best form.
After discussions between members and staff, we decided to cease band activities for the time being. We apologize again to our fans who were looking forward to seeing us with the 4 original members in January.
*Please note: the January performances are still scheduled, and are currently being adjusted. The contents of the shows will be announced soon. Since your ticket is still valid, please bring it to the show as it is, until further announcement. At the time of the announcement, customers who would like a refund of ticket fees due to the changes, can do so. Or, you can keep your valid tickets for the “new” performances.
Please be patient. Announcement of official show details will be coming soon.
We appreciate your understanding, and thank you for your continuous support!”
