American Bombshell cancel existing shows for 2020 and to focus on writing and recording new music
Indiana, USA based rockers American Bombshell consisting of lead vocalist Jay Cee, guitarists Andrew “Nix” Nixon and Justin Bryant, bassist Dusty Green and drummer Jason Carr have elected to focus on writing and recording new music rather than perform concerts during the rest of 2020 amid a very uncertain time in the United States of America due to the Covid-19 pandemic. American Bombshell have released the albums No Regrets (2016) and Tattooed ‘N Bruised (2019) to date.
The following message was posted on American Bombshell‘s Facebook page earlier today (with slight edits):
“We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know we are choosing to cancel any existing shows for the remainder of the year, and shifting our focus on writing and recording. The current state of shows are chaotic at best, and we feel this downtime would be better served to create some kick-ass new music for you. At the moment, we have 4 songs in progress at The Pop Machine, and quite a few more that will be studio ready soon.
We’re looking forward to dropping some samples here and in the Bomb Squad so you can check out what we’ve got in store for the next release. We think you’re gonna love it!
In the meantime, stay safe, be nice to each other, and do what you can where you can to help your local live music venues survive. This is just a moment in time, it will pass, and we will be in your face rocking with you once again! See you SOON! #NoRegrets #BombSquad #TattooedNBruised #RockAndRoll #StaySafe
– Jay Cee, Jason, Dusty, Justin, and Nixon“
