American Bombshell part ways with newest member / guitarist Dustin Webster

Indiana, USA based rockers American Bombshell have announced today that they have parted ways with their newest member / guitarist Dustin Webster. In late May 2019, American Bombshell announced Webster as the replacement for guitarist Steve Boyles who left the group only 18 days after the band’s sophomore album Tattooed ‘n Bruised was released on March 29, 2019.

The following message was posted on American Bombshell‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“What’s up Bomb Squad? We wanted to let you all know we’ve amicably parted ways with Dustin Webster. We’ve had an amazing time with Dustin, sharing the stage on some of our biggest shows in what’s been an amazing year for Bombshell. Web will be focusing on personal endeavors and his growing family, so we collectively decided this would be the best decision for both him and the band. We wish nothing but the best for him, Sierra, and family! Stay safe, and see you soon!”

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Tattooed ‘n Bruised: “Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed this album, it isn’t breaking any new ground and the riffs and chord progressions have all been heard before in some manner. That’s okay though, as fans will still lap it up and it will feel comfortably familiar. I must say that the lead guitar work for the solos, melodies and fills is a standout and really elevates the rating of the album. However, the real shining light on Tattooed ‘n Bruised is undoubtedly vocalist Jay Cee. What a voice. He seems to have the ability to change his vocal style making each song sound like it is being sung by a different singer, yet being able to retain a portion of his own identity. His transition from calm soothing vocals to angst filled aggression is handled well and with relative ease.”
