American Dog Already Working On New Album

AMERICAN DOG ALREADY WORKING ON NEW ALBUM:

February 25, 2009

According to American Dog vocalist/bassist Michael Hannon, the band have already started work on their next CD.

Hannon stated at www.myspace.com/americandog, “We recorded five songs last night with Joe Viers, who recorded all of our past CD’s at John Schwab Studios, but this time we’re working with Joe at his new studio “Sonic Lounge” which is in Grove City, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus)… We recorded in analog on two inch tape, which was then transferred to digital.

Bass and drums are finished on the five tracks, guitars are being done tonight. My vocal tracks are being pushed back ’til I’m healthy again, as I have that damn flu that is going around.

We’ll record another seven or eight tracks at the end of March and see which tracks make up the best CD.

So far here’s a few of the songs:
Drivin’ Down the Sidewalk
Ain’t Dead Yet
Mine All Mine
Just One More
Gonna Stop Drinkin’ Tomorrow
Sunshine/Moonshine
Motherfucker

Who knows how many, if any of these will make the final.”
