American Dog Premieres “Devil Dog” Music Video

March 26, 2013

Columbus, Ohio’s American Dog have released a video for the song “Devil Dog” from their latest studio album ‘Poison Smile’.

“Devil Dog” is the second video from ‘Poison Smile’, following “Just Like Charlie Sheen” which landed in Classic Rock Magazine’s Top 30 Music Videos of 2012. “We’ve been working on new material for another new studio record, but Poison Smile is still selling well,” says American Dog frontman Michael Hannon, “So we figured we’d just keep pushing the damn thing and play more shows behind it!”

Filmed at the Al Rosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio the Rob Kern/From Out Of Nowhere directed video is being released in advance of a run of shows that sees the band playing with acts such as Airbourne, Faster Pussycat and Tuff. American Dog’s April 6th headline performance at Route 33-Rhythm and Brews includes special guest, heavy metal journalist/author Martin Popoff. Martin will be on hand to emcee the show and autograph copies of his latest biographies on Ted Nugent, Scorpions and Thin Lizzy, plus a dozen or so other titles.

American Dog was formed in 1999 and features ex-Salty Dog and Dangerous Toys bassist Michael Hannon on vocals and bass, Steve Theado on guitars and Michael Harris on drums. Information on the band can be found at and
