‘Attack Of Life: The Bang Tango Movie’ Theatrical Trailer Now Online
March 25, 2013
The final theatrical trailer for ‘Attack Of Life: The Bang Tango Movie’, an upcoming documentary film by Drew Fortier outlining the existence of the rock band Bang Tango, has been posted online.
Featuring interviews with all original members — Joe LeSte, Mark Knight, Kyle Kyle, Tigg Ketler and Kyle Stevens — current members, and key players who performed with Bang Tango, the film also features appearances by Chip Z’Nuff, former Headbanger’s Ball host Riki Rachtman and producer Howard Benson.
Formed in the late ’80s, Bang Tango never got to fully realize their potential to be more well known than they were, with their hit single “Someone Like You” from 1989, which was played on MTV all the time, the film explores the good times, bad times, and debauchery that the band has endured throughout the years.
Director Drew Fortier plans on having a rough cut of the film done by late spring and is aiming for an L.A. premiere around July or August.
“Its gonna be a fun film,” Fortier tells Sleaze Roxx. “The band’s story is very unique, which is why I was drawn to it in the first place. The film will have a great sense of humour but at the same time be very bittersweet in a way… even heartbreaking at times.”
