AXL ROSE ON SKID ROW SINGER’S ALBUM:
September 30, 2007
Enigmatic Guns N’ Roses auteur Axl Rose helps out Sebastian Bach on his third solo album.
Spotted in the studio: one Axl W Rose rocking it with one Sebastian Bach. The pair have been longtime friends, with Bach’s solo act supporting Guns N’ Roses on tour recently, and they’ve now laid down three tracks for his forthcoming third solo album, titled ‘Angel Down’.
The album will be released on November 20 through the extensive label appellation of Get Off My Bach/Merovingian Music/Caroline Records/EMI. The songs that Mr. Rose and Mr. Bach collaborated on are titled ‘(Love Is) A Bitchslap’, ‘Stuck Inside’ and the hopeful ‘Back In The Saddle’.
It’s a dutiful favour Rose is paying back to Bach, who guested on the track ‘Sorry’ from the eternally-delayed ‘Chinese Democracy’ money pit/album. Bach even gave the apocryphal album a plug to the Albany Times Union.
“He’s so prolific, dude, that he’s recorded enough material for at least three albums, and it’s all fucking awesome,” Bach raved, “It has the rawness and the power of ‘Appetite For Destruction’, but it also has the grandiosity of ‘November Rain.’ It’s just fucking awesome.”
