Swedish hard rockers Babylon Bombs have announced that they are taking a break… maybe forever.
In a statement the band said, “The European tour in September is canceled and we are VERY sorry for that!
We’ve been committed to the band now for a couple of years and when you’re not available to put in 100% to eat, shit and live for Rock ‘n Roll it’s time to to take a break. We don’t know what the future will bring…. maybe we quit, maybe we will pick it up later on…
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all the B.Bombers out there! Thanks for everything and for fulfilling our dreams!”
Babylon Bombs frontman Dani left the band in April due to being tired of touring and the music business, while bassist Rick-y played some American gigs with Sister Sin as a temporary member. The band’s last CD ‘Babylon’s Burning’, produced by Chris Laney, reached both the Sleaze Roxx Top 10 of 2009 and the Sleaze Roxx Reader’s Choice Top 20 of 2009.
