Bang Tango guitarist Steve Favela found out about band’s original members reunion via social media

Color of Chaos and now presumably ex-Bang Tango guitarist Steve Favela was recently interviewed by the All Music / All Band‘s Facebook page.

Back in mid-November 2019, it was announced that Bang Tango‘s original line-up of Mark Knight, singer Joe Lesté, guitarist Kyle Stevens, bassist Kyle Kyle and drummer Tigg Ketler would be reuniting for select shows in 2020. Nothing was said at the time about what was going to happen to the current Bang Tango members consisting of Favela, bassist Lance Eric and drummer Timmy Russell.

Favela revealed in his interview with All Music / All Bands that he found out about Bang Tango‘s original members reunion via social media. Presumably Eric and Russell found out about the reunion the same way too.

In terms of whether he knew about Bang Tango‘s reunion tour, Favela indicated (with slight edits): “I was in the band about a year and a half. I had some great moments in that time. Lance was in the Bang Tango for 15 yrs. I think he kind of knew. I dont think anybody was expecting a full reunion. I found out on social media [laughs].”
