Bangalore Choir Putting The Finishing Touches On New Studio Album
February 2, 2012
Bangalore Choir are currently putting the finishing touches on their soon to be released new record called ‘Metaphor’.
The current Bangalore Choir line-up consists of vocalist David Reece, guitarists Andy Susemihl and Curt Mitchell, bassist Danny Greenberg and newest member Mike Johnson on drums. ‘Metaphor’ will be released through Metal heaven Records and will include 14 brand new tracks.
Bangalore Choir made their triumphant return in 2010 with ‘Cadence’, the band’s first studio album since their 1992 debut ‘On Target’. The group originally came together after Reece’s time fronting Accept, and included former Hericane Alice members Ian Mayo and Jackie Ramos.
With Reece, Mitchell and Greenberg being the only original members involved, ‘Cadence’ showed a more mature side to the band as Sleaze Roxx stated, “Everyone has grown up and thus wants to explore topics deeper than getting into a girl’s pants. You can’t fault David Reece and company for that… and even though the band has evolved considerably since we last heard from them (even the artwork displays the change in attitude) at least they can still write some damn good rock songs!”
Reece is also currently fronting Tango Down, who will release a new album called ‘Identity Crisis’ on March 3rd.
