Bishop Gunn suspending all future activities due to internal issues

Mississippi, USA rockers Bishop Gunn consisting of lead vocalist Travis McCready, guitarist Drew Smithers, drummer Burne Sharp and bassist Ben Lewis have announced that they are suspending all future activities due to internal issues. The group released a full-length album titled Natchez back in May 2018.

The following message was posted on Bishop Gunn‘s Facebook page earlier on February 20, 2020:

“Dear Gunners,

It is with heavy hearts and sadness we must announce that as of today, Bishop Gunn is suspending all future activity including tour dates and new music releases. The band is going through some internal issues right now that requires our full attention and we need the time to sort through all of it. We don’t want our fans, friends and family to speculate on the future so we have decided to halt everything for right now. All existing tour dates are going to be canceled, and no further dates will be announced as of right now.

We wish to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the love, support, kindness and assistance you all provided us over the years. We quite literally could not have done it without you. We hope that this isn’t the end of our story, but it’s certainly a pause for right now in the hopes we can re-emerge stronger for it.

Thank you all,

Bishop Gunn
