Black ‘N Blue guitarist Brandon Cook clarifies that he’s not sure where he contracted Covid-19

Yesterday, Black ‘N Blue and The Loyal Order guitarist Brandon Cook publicly announced that he had tested positive for Covid-19 and that he was just finishing his quarantine period. Cook speculated that he must have contracted the Covid-19 virus on his way to or in Kansas City, Missouri, USA where Black ‘N Blue played a show at The Scene K.C. Rock Bar on August 15, 2020.

Part of Cook‘s Facebook post yesterday stated: “I’m not exactly sure where or when I picked up coronavirus but I did. I have not been driving Uber for well over a month because my car had broken down and because DMV has been backed up, I haven’t received my registration. I’ve either been at home or the gym or hanging with my kiddo. I can only assume that I got it in Kansas City or on the way there via air travel though air travel is unlikely because we were all wearing masks in the plane and airport.”

In a statement to Sleaze Roxx earlier today, Cook clarified (with slight edit):

“To Sleaze Roxx:

I would like to clarify my prior statement. To be clear, I am not sure where I contracted Covid-19. I traveled through several airports on the way to Kansas City, Mo. The Scene in Kansas City handled the outdoor concert with all state-required safety regulations. As of this writing, no people who worked the Scene have become ill. They are following all proper safety precautions to get the club ready for the next event.

Thanks for your time
