Black Robot Featuring Ex-Buckcherry Members Post New Songs Online

August 12, 2008

BLACK ROBOT has just added a few more songs to their myspace page as well as a FREE download of their HIT song BADDASS. BLACK ROBOT’s upcoming new record, produced by Dave Cobb, features ex Buckcherry members JB, Yogi & Devon with Detroit singer Huck Johns.

On May 31st of this year the band posted the following blog on their website:

“We would like to officially announce the completion of the Black Robot record. Earlier this week we finished the background vocals, harmonies, percussion, keys, and pianos. We invited Fred Mandel (Queen, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Alice Cooper) to play keys and piano of several tracks. It was a great experience working with him and his contribution on this record is amazing. Devon did an awesome job on drums and his percussion work is top notch. Yogi, JB and Devon had a great time with background vocals. Huck and Dave Cobb raised the bar with the harmonies and the record is sounding awesome! You’ll be hearing something very soon, but for now we can leave you with the song titles and liner notes: Also, check out some studio photos on our page.”
