The countdown to the June 11th arrival of Black Sabbath’s first studio album with Ozzy Osbourne at the helm in 35 years has begun.
The forefathers of heavy metal’s new album is now available for pre-order on a variety of formats via www.blacksabbath.com. Options include the standard CD album, a deluxe double CD album in a deluxe soft-pack (includes a second disc of exclusive bonus audio material), a 12″ heavyweight (180g) vinyl album in a gatefold sleeve and a ‘Super Deluxe Box Set’ in a limited edition 12″ clamshell box that contains the deluxe double CD album, 12″ heavyweight (180g) vinyl album in a gatefold sleeve, exclusive DVD containing ‘Black Sabbath – The Re-union’ documentary, plus 5 behind-the-scenes videos, download card containing exclusive track by track interview with Black Sabbath, 13 exclusive photographic prints and hand written album lyrics.

On the live front, Black Sabbath will launch their world tour with a series of dates kicking off next month in New Zealand, Australia and Japan.
’13’ was recorded primarily in Los Angeles and features the original Black Sabbath — Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar) and Geezer Butler (bass) — who were joined at the sessions by drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine). Produced by Rick Rubin (seven-time Grammy winner, two of those as Producer of the Year), the album will be released on Vertigo (worldwide) and Vertigo/Republic in the U.S.
