BLE Masquerade festival postponed from Oct. 28-30, 2021 to spring of 2022
The inaugural BLE Masquerade festival is getting postponed once again. Initially, the three-day festival was known as Ballroom Blitz and was originally supposed to take place in Glen Burnie, Maryland, USA on March 20 and 21, 2020. However, with the Covid pandemic, Ballroom Blitz was postponed to October 9 to 11, 2020 and then once again rescheduled to early 2021. Ballroom Blitz then became BLE Masquerade and was scheduled to take place at a yet to be announced venue in Maryland, USA from October 28 to 30, 2021. The BLE Masquerade line-up featured over 25 bands including Jack Russell’s Great White, Last In Line, the George Lynch Band, Beastö Blancö, Tora Tora, Hurricane, Pretty Boy Floyd and Kickin Valentina.
The following message was posted on BLE‘s Facebook page earlier today:
“It is with a heavy heart that we must officially announce that Masquerade set for October 28,29,30 2021 must be rescheduled. More information regarding the postponement will be released throughout this on going period. Be sure to follow this company page and our website for more information.
Our plan for announcing the reschedule was to release through our new website we have been working on. We found out a few weeks ago that a few bands were taking precautions due to covid protocol and safety to reschedule some of their 2021 tour dates. Our event was effected by 3 of our direct/support bands having to cancel the date. We then began to learn that our event needed to move from indoor to outdoors due to our expected/projected occupancy. At this juncture the logistical nightmare of moving it outside and also the noise ordinances locally would not allow us to put on the caliber of show or quality that is expected at a BLE event.
All tickets purchased will be honored for our reschedule in the spring of 2022. Again, Masquerade will happen when safe to do so. We will not be changing the branding or the lineup again. The safety of the supporters, the staff, and out artists are our top priority during this time .
NO ONE WANTS THIS EVENT TO TAKE PLACE MORE THAN US ! We have one hell of a lineup in place and we intend to see it through. Please join us for BLE‘s LAST live event! BLE presents Masquerade. We are going our with one hell of a bang and maybe even a “mic drop”. To all the LOYAL supporters of BLE it’s been an amazing ride. Let’s finish STRONG!
Best always to all

BLE Masquerade appears also to be the last event to be spearheaded by Brad Lee Entertainment‘s principal Brad Lee who posted the following message on his Facebook page back on September 4, 2021 (with slight edits):
“I’m sorry to say that once Masquerade is finished, so am I. I’m tired, I’m spent and I’m honestly beyond disappointed in the actions of people in general in the industry these days. This isn’t why I got into this. Currently health is priority PERIOD. MINE , YOURS , OURS ! Social media has given far too many people a misinformed sense of reality in regards to so many things. I just don’t desire it anymore and it’s unfortunately largely due to the fact of people in the industry disregarding integrity and ethics all together to suit their own agenda. I don’t need it, my family doesn’t need it and to be quite honest, I have somewhat lost my love for music because of it.”
