Bret Michaels to release new solo song “Unbroken” co-written with daughter Jorga in early 2019
Poison frontman Bret Michaels was recently interviewed by the Digital Journal and spoke about some of his plans for 2019.
Digital Journal reported that Michaels intends to release a song titled “Unbroken” that he co-wrote with his daughter Jorga Bleu. Michaels advised: “She played piano on it and she sang the harmonies with me. It was a great bonding experience. The song is about overcoming adversity… Hopefully, it will be out either in January or February.”
In terms of some of his other plans for 2019, Michaels indicated: “I am working on some really creative things on the professional side. I’m working with a gaming company for a game called ‘Surviving the Rock.’ It is an incredible, engaging and kick-ass game. I am also working on a theme park ride right now that is going to be pretty damn awesome.”

Back in May 2017, Michaels released a video for the song “Jorga Bleu” of which Sleaze Roxx stated: “Emotion aside, the song even sounds great. It was originally supposed to be, simply, a demo of the song but Bret decided not to re-record it in an effort to retain his “true emotion felt in the moments of writing it”. The acoustic is perfect for this one and Bret‘s voice has never sounded better. Pete told me that this song was recorded on the bus in their mobile studio so I was impressed that the production is bright and clear. Bret‘s vocals are up front and present, not hidden under a ton of reverb and effects.”
