Bret Michaels working really hard to put together incredible Poison tour with other bands for next summer

Poison frontman Bret Michaels was recently interviewed by Billboard and he spoke about the band’s plans for 2020.

The following is an excerpt from the Billboard article:

Michaels is also looking at some Poison activity for 2020 after taking this year off. “2020 is really the dream,” he acknowledges. “I’m working real hard right now to put together something incredible with some other bands for next summer.” A new Poison recording, he adds, “would be amazing. I don’t think an entire album, but at least one song; I’d love to do that. It’s definitely on the wish list.””

In terms of his current tour, Michaels indicated: “I’m on my Unbroken Tour, so this is just very specific around these dates… We’re making this a great time — an awesome party for people, great bands on the bill, everything. And then we encouraged them to donate money to local charities, who we’ve vetted out to make sure they’re legitimate. We raise the money, we find the (charities) and get (the money) to them.”

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Poison‘s tour stop in Toronto, Ontario, Canada back in June 2018: “Overall, while I thought that Poison‘s set was a little on the short side (probably one hour and 15 minutes with three solo features), it was a lot of fun and it really felt like there was a great party atmosphere. In a nutshell, Poison brought the party to Toronto and made a usually uneventful Tuesday night feel like a raucous Saturday night. You can’t ask for anymore than that from any entertainer. I am definitely not waiting another ten years before I go see Poison play live again.”
