Cage The Gods Hitting The Road Prior To Debut Release
December 3, 2013
Following their successful performances on the recent The Answer UK tour, Cage The Gods are set to hit the road again as special guests on The Treatment’s UK and European February 2014 tour. This run of dates will support the forthcoming spring release of their highly anticipated debut album ‘Badlands’ and the band will be further featured in the Classic Rock ‘Ones to watch for 2014’ new year feature.
An action packed last three months has seen the band sign an exclusive USA licence deal with The End Records/Warner ADA, tour the UK with The Answer and release their first digital EP ‘Favourite Sin’ as premiered in the USA by Revolver Magazine. Their self released debut four-track EP ‘Favourite Sin’ was released on November 24th 2013 in both the UK and USA and is backed with “From The Start”, “Wake Up” and “Sacrifice (acoustic)”.
Irish vocalist Peter Comerford and Scottish guitarist Jam formed the band in the summer of 2012 and before long, the pair crossed paths with 6’7″ Welsh bassist Mitch Witham. Young English drummer Colin Jones is the most recent addition having replaced original drummer NJ who in true rock n roll fashion went on a booze-fuelled week in Vegas with a 38 year old glamour model, got married by Elvis in ‘The Chapel Of Love’ and hasn’t been seen since… Thankfully Jones was able to step up to the mark and solidify his place within the band after a charismatic debut performance supporting US rockers Filter.
