Canadian rockers Hellbros announce dates for European tour in June 2016

Hellbros have announced that they will be touring in Europe during the month of June 2016. The tour will see the Canadian rockers hitting six countries while playing 15 shows in 22 days.

Back in December 2015, Sleaze Roxx had done an interview with Hellbros‘ frontman Peter Jurt who advised that the group would be doing a tour of Europe in June 2016. True to his word, Hellbros are indeed embarking on such a tour. Jurt stated in his interview with Sleaze Roxx: “…We’re also doing a European tour in June [2016] and are back in the studio in January [2016] to record a new single. Other than that, we plan on doing some Ontario and Quebec [Canada] dates and a music video or two are in the cards. Oh also, [Matt] Spag got married and Josh [Roy] is getting married! Christian [Jurt] and I are super single and not opposed to three ways with the willing. We’re brothers so that’s gross.”

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Hellbros‘ 2015 released EP Calling All Giants: “With their new EP Calling All Giants, Canadian rockers, Hellbros, have followed up their 2011 album Goodtime Machine with a gloomier feeling and more consistent effort. Gone are the recklessness and wild fury of songs such as “Street Party” and in are heavier mean songs that still really rock but in a darker type way. For some reason, Calling All Giants reminds me a lot of Newsted‘s Metal and Heavy Metal Music records with the gruff vocals from Hellbros frontman Peter Jurt having a lot of similarities to Jason Newsted‘s own rough and gruff vocal delivery, and the heavy and dark but enjoyable music on each record.”

Since the release of Calling All Giants, Hellbros have released two singles: “Give Up The Ghost” in March 2016 and “Hate” in April 2016.
