Carmine Appice To Join Sin City Sinners At Cancer Benefit Show

March 3, 2011

On Friday March 4th, Las Vegas’ favorite band The Sin City Sinners will host a last minute benefit show to fight Childhood Cancer. The next day Sinners manager Jason Green will shave his head in front of a live audience in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for the St Baldrick’s Foundation.

The benefit takes place at Club Madrid (inside Sunset Station) and it is FREE to attend. The band just ask you donate whatever you can. Drink specials for the event include $2 Domestic beers all night and ladies drink FREE from 9pm to 11pm.

The night kicks off at 9pm with special guests from Los Angeles Hargo and then at 10:30 Sin City Sinners will take the stage joined by Jimmy Crepso (Aerosmith), Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), Louie Merlino and Ron Mancuso (Beggars & Thieves), Carol Lyn Liddle (Dangerous Curves) — also in attendance to lend support to the cause is drum legend Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne).

Then on March 5, Jason Green will have his head shaved in front of a live audience at Boulder Station at 4pm. Team Sin City Sinners member and 92.3 Komp Radio DJ Big Mex will have is head shaved for the cause as well. So far Green and Mex have raised over $2,000 for St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fight Childhood Cancer. St. Baldrick’s is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
