Chili Peppers To Spice Up MuchMusic
CHILI PEPPERS TO SPICE UP MUCHMUSIC:
The Chili Peppers speak! Again.
Veteran L.A. funk-rockers and habitual MuchMusic guests The Red Hot Chili Peppers stop by “the environment” this Wednesday at 8 p.m. for an hour-long Live@Much spot.
The band will discuss their eighth and latest album, By The Way, taking questions from the audience as well as by phone, fax, and e-mail. All four group members, including singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, guitarist John Frusciante, and drummer Chad Smith are expected at the appearance.
The Chili Peppers will be in Toronto next week for interviews promoting By The Way before heading up to cottage country, where they’ll perform at a cottage for contest winners as the grand prize in Molson’s “House Party” campaign.
It’ll be their only Canadian show of the summer.
A limited number of wristbands for the band’s MuchMusic appearance are avaible. Fans are advised to tune in for details.
Both the By The Way album and single debuted at No. 1 on Canadian sales charts when released in June.
