Chris Holmes to do promotional tour in Canada this September that includes ‘Mean Man’ screening

Former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes has been busy these past six months undergoing chemotherapy treatments and recovering from throat and neck cancer. This led to promoter Kevin Michaud of Front Row Productions electing to cancel Holmes‘ oft-rescheduled tour throughout Canada as explained on the guitarist’s Facebook page back on June 22, 2022:

“Chris Holmes & The Mean Men and the management want let you know that the shows cancelled of the Canadian tour is the action of front row promotions and his booker kevin michaud. This was cancelled without our approval and we learned it this morning in the same time than all of you.

We are working to safe this tour because there is no way it doesn’t happen by respect for the promoters and the fans …. And also because we want see all of you lol

The guitarist and his wife Cathy-Sarah Holmes have now decided to come to Canada in any case to do a “promotional tour” and set up a tour throughout Canada and the United States of America.

The following message was posted on Holmes‘ Facebook page earlier today:

“The Canadian tour was cancelled without our knowledge and could not be rebuilt, financially and mentally and we are sorry for that. After 2 years of lockdowns and Chris‘ cancer struggles and all of the fans in Canada waiting for the tour, we decide to come in September 2022 anyways. So the both of us will come to Canada between September 10th to the 25th on just a promotional tour for interviews, meet & greet, signings with some special screening of the ‘Mean Man‘ Documentary in Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City and Cornwall. We will also take the opportunity to meet with promoters and sponsors in preparation for a Canada/USA tour in 2023. “
