Classic Guns N’ Roses line-up rumoured to reunite with first show in Portugal

According to the online publication Blitz, the classic Guns N’ Roses line-up, which would presumably include singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan have been offered $1.5 million dollars to reunite and play their first reunion show in Portugal sometime in the first half of 2016.

Rumours of the classic Guns N’ Roses line-up reuniting have been widely circulated in the last few months and further fuelled by the departure of guitarist DJ Ashba from the current Axl Rose led Guns N’ Roses line-up and the admission from Slash during a recent interview in Sweden that he and Rose were “friends again.”

The Blitz report states that the British newspaper, The Independent, has estimated that such a tour would be able to generate revenues of 77 million euros.

Guns N’ Roses are one of the most successful hard rock bands ever with worldwide sales reported at around 81,500,000 based on the release of only six studio albums. The band’s debut album Appetite For Destruction has reportedly sold about 28,000,000 worldwide and has often been cited as one of the greatest hard rock / heavy metal albums of all-time.
