Chicago’s own Enuff Z’Nuff is back in the groove with the return of their fanatical lead singer Donnie Vie. Enuff Z’Nuff is finally back on the road, headstrong and smashing out a few new songs from their upcoming CD ‘Dissonance’ and bringing back the oldies but goodies.
As the band took the stage a feverish excitement came over the crowd. Finally, Donnie was back in action with his long-time partner in crime – bassist, song-writing partner and singer Chip Z’Nuff. Donnie sprung on stage and led off the night with their new song “Dissonance” which is in the classic Enuff Z’Nuff pop-metal style. The band then rolled along, rocking with the crowd to songs such as “Rock-N-World”, “Heaven Or Hell”, “There Goes My Heart”, “We’re All Alright” and “Baby Loves You”. The band introduced a few other new songs including “High” and crowd pleaser “Lazy Dazy” which has their signature Beatles-pop punch sound. They then backed up the night with classic hits like “New Thing”, “Fly High Michelle” and “In The Groove”. The group was rounded out with the talented Tory Stoffregen on lead guitar and hard-hitting Randi Scott on drums.
Enuff Z’Nuff is definitely still one of the best bands around with solid pop-metal songs, extreme energy and excitement during their live shows. With the return of the raspy vocals of Donnie Vie, you will unbelievably want to oh…oh…oh…get in the groove!
