Crazy Lixx looking for fans to sing on their upcoming album
Crazy Lixx have hinted what will be coming up on their new album in order to appeal to their fans. The Swedish five-piece group has revealed they are currently creating their sixth album, and want fans to get involved with their record.
In a post published on their official Facebook page, the group said: “Attention all talented rock singers around the globe. Crazy Lixx are looking for one or two additional backing vocal singers for the recording of the next album. We’re always using a lot of different voices to record our gang vocals and harmony parts and now we want to expand our team further.”
Explaining what they were asking for from their fans, they asked for people who have “a good and powerful voice,” “understand harmonies and can follow instructions and pre-recorded vocal guides,” and “can record in their own home studio or can get access to a studio for the recording.”
The statement stated male and female singers were both asked for, and gave instructions on how to submit applications.
“Send your application (with audio or video samples of you singing) to info@crazylixx.com and write “Backing Vocals” as the subject in the e-mail.”
The “Girls Of The 80s” band added full credit would be given on the album and that successful applicants would be paid.
Crazy Lixx released their latest album Ruff Justice in 2017 — and it was voted one of the Top Five albums of the year by Sleaze Roxx readers.
In a review of the record, Sleaze Roxx stated: “Ruff Justice differentiates itself by going even more ’80s based, using harmonic vocals and melodic guitar lines throughout similar to Danger Danger, or maybe Mr. Big.”
