Deceased Warrant frontman Jani Lane’s daughter Maddi Lane releases her version of “Heaven”
Former Warrant and deceased singer Jani Lane‘s daughter Madison Lane has posted her version of Warrant‘s hit single “Heaven.”
The following was posted on Maddi Lane‘s Soundcloud page about six days ago:
“This is a tribute to my dad, Jani Lane, from the band Warrant. This song was a classic and I decided to sing a cover for it. The final version will be uploaded sometime after Christmas, which will sound a little more professional, but here is what a friend and I did in a recording studio in one day (I may also be changing some of the lyrics to make it for a female).”
Wikipedia states the following about Jani Lane‘s “Personal life” (with slight edit):
“During the shooting of Warrant‘s “Cherry Pie” video, Lane met model Bobbie Brown, who starred in the video, and they wed a couple of months later in July 1991. They were married for three years and had a daughter, Taylar, in 1992 before divorcing in 1993. Lane got married again in 1996 to actress Rowanne Brewer, a former Miss Maryland USA, and had a daughter, Madison, the following year. They divorced in 2005. Lane allegedly married Kimberly Nash in 2010, to whom he remained married at the time of his death in 2011 despite no marriage license ever being produced and claims they were separated for almost 10 months.”
