Gregory A. Pianka, 35, of Erie, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 as a result of a tragic stabbingattack. He was born in Erie on April 26, 1974, a son of the late Gregory Pianka and Robin L. MelloPianka.
He was a local Erie musician with the band “DIRTY LOOKS”, with the accomplishment ofrecording an album with SONY Records. He enjoyed his Harley-Davidson and was a member ofthe Harley-Davidson Owners Group “HOG”. He also was a member of the bands “Crawl” and”Maynia”.
He is survived by his daughter, Marianna Pianka of Erie. A sister, Vickie Hilliard of Erie.Aunts, Tia Mello and friend, Jerry Rapp and Debbie Miacynski and her husband, Jim all of Erie. Hisgirl friend, Angie Amann of Erie. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends also survive.
Friends may call at the Merle E. Wood Funeral Home, Inc., 215 West 25th St. on Wednesday from2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home at8:30 p.m., with Rev. Thomas M. Aleksa, officiating.
