Dirty Passion Release New Single In Advance Of 2012 Album
December 20, 2011
Swedish rock and rollers Dirty Passion have released their brand new single “When Darkness Falls”. The song, which is intended as a sneak preview of the band’s second album due out in 2012, was recorded at Tweak Studios and mixed/mastered at RoastingHouse.
Reagrding the new single the band stated, “After a few grueling days and nights in the studio we’ve finally been handed the last and final mix of our latest single. This will be a first taste of whats to come on the new album out in 2012.” “When Darkness Falls” is the fans first chance to hear Dirty Passion with new vocalist Kriss Lohikoski Svensson.
Dirty Passion formed in Malmoe, Sweden in late 2006. The band’s high energy original material is a mix of their influences from the seventies’ and eighties’ rock scene to today’s. The band’s debut album ‘Different Tomorrow’ was released on December 13th, 2010 and spent several weeks on the Swedish album sales charts, peaking at #4 in the Hard Rock category.
Dirty Passion has also signed with “Live Wire Booking” who will now handle all bookings in Norway. The band has worked extensivly with “Live Wire” in the past (most recently on the Faster Pussycat Scandinavian tour and Phil Lewis’ L.A. Guns), and when the topic of signing with them came up it was an easy choice to make. Dirty Passion is excited about the opportunity to return to Norway and working more closely with “Live Wire”.
